Day 8

A day with water

sunny 31 °C

Today we have spent by the water.

This morning we went to Tel Dan to the River Dan. The water comes from the snow of Mount Hermon.

It is one of the three tributaries that runs into the Jordan River.

We then looked across to the Border with Lebanon.

My note taking has not been great today...so, I am a little vague.

We visited a beautiful set of waterfalls.

However, we stopped at a city gate from the days of Abrahamans Caesarea Phillipi. I had the privilege of sharing a devotion at this spot and spoke about the conviction of Peter and the worship of Peter when Jesus asked the disciples, ‘Who do the people say I am?’ He then says to Peter, ‘Who do you say I am?’

We then had lunch in a Lebanese restaurant and I was happy with salad and chicken.

The rest of the afternoon we spent rafting on the Jordan river and got absolutely drenched.
